Stars aborning,
           we take flight
                  to find the morning
                       of our night,
                           to ride the lifestream
                        of our day
                     and dance a new dream
                 on our way
          to journey far beyond what seems
   beyond the worlds of our dreams. 

I can't explain it. I just did it. I just touched her gently on the place between the eyebrows often called "the third eye." I don't know why. I just did it. In a moment she became very quiet and remained so for nearly five minutes. When she came back to me, she told me that she had had a most awesome experience. She had floated through the universe as though on a tour of the stars. It was beautiful beyond imagination, she said. She nearly didn't want to come back.

What was that about? Another of life's mysteries had just happened before my eyes. Is there an experience beyond love-making that humans haven't realized? We loved each other deeply and she had come to my tent to be with me that night on the Atlantic shore. . We were planning our marriage after I returned from an event in Europe that summer. But that' experience started me thinking about the real meaning of sex beyond having babies or just adult play. Is there something about love and passion that has been trivialized? Are secrets hidden in our very nature?.

The pieces of the puzzle have slowly come together into a more cogent concept of sacred sex and extraordinary love.

I didn’t go looking for it. It found me in the busyness of the day. I was quiet. I’ve learned to be quiet…at peace…in the most chaotic places…just doing what I do…the whispers in the heart…wisps of thought in the mind. I’ve learned to listen to the sissagwaad, the spirit wind that whispers in the heart. It’s hard to explain. I don’t know if it can be explained. But it’s there. It happens. I listen.

It can be found in the events of the day and in the events of a life. After a while, enough of the pieces have come together that a pattern can be seen. One of the puzzle pieces makes another more understandable. Another piece brings greater clarity until soon, if you are paying attention, the picture begins to tell a story. The little puzzle pieces make a larger piece of art. That is what life is: Small brush strokes on a canvas that slowly takes a form and texture. The colors begin to mean something to each other.

Most often the pieces are the personal experiences of life and sometimes they are pieces borrowed from someone else’s experience. Their pieces that fit into my puzzle make it a community work of art. It’s hard to remember where all the pieces came from and who made them available but the puzzle becomes a picture with their addition.

I tried to go to the works of Zechariah Sitchin to find a baseline, the edge of the jig-saw puzzle before me. Sitchin has claimed to translate texts of the ancient civilizations of the Sumerians, Akkadians, Hittites, Canaanites, Mesopotamia, Babylon, Egypt and the Hebrews. He has pieced together an amazing story of man's origins beginning with a Creator, known in the ancient clay and stone tablets, metal scrolls, that have been found and deciphered in the past 150 years. In his Lost Book of Enki. Sitchin tells the story of Prince Ea of the Planet Nibiru, that was ruled by his father, King An of the Annunaki (Those Who from Heaven to Earth Came). Also known as Enki, Prince Ea came to a planet, he called Eridu ("Home in the Faraway") that had been decimated by galactic wars, and he revived life through his knowledge of genetics and breeding. Although his main task was to mine the gold needed on his home planet, Enki sought to create a creature with the capacity to become free and aware of himself. In fact, he experimented with the new life he created to develop a life form that would not be as limited as the so-called "gods" of Nibiru. This new life form was formed from the DNA of the Annunaki and other galactic beings, but especially as a direct descendant of the "gods" themselves. Enki, himself, was the father to the final version.

It's a great story, but Sitchin's credentials do not include any academic training and his works are disputed by those who HAVE had the academic training. So I went back to the Teachings of the Star Elder. As a child, Native American dancer, Robert Morning Sky, was taught by an alien called Bek'ti, who had been rescued from a crashed space craft near Roswell, New Mexico in 1947. Morning Sky wrote of the Teachings of the Star Elder in the Terra Papers:

As word of Prince EA’s beast spread to neighboring stars and galaxies, another group of Genesis Lords extended a gift to Lord EA. Known as the Akhu, they were descended from a bird-like ancestor. The Genesis Lords presented Lord Ea with the single strand of DNA filament that provided ‘passion.’ With this one single element, the invisible motivating force that gave a being intense feeling was passed on to the beasts of the Prince. And with this gift the beings would have even more “passion”, more feeling than the beings of the ASA-RRR empire themselves. Taken from the cells of the , the offering would become known as the GIFT OF THE FEATHER. (p. 38:)

Through the genius of Enki and his sister, Ninhursag, the capacity to love was amplified by an intense feeling that exceeded that of the gods themselves. The CrEAtor had created a being that had the potential to exceed the gods in their capacity to Love...Created not just in His own image...but beyond His own experience.

Then I found The Heart's Code, a book by Paul Pearsall, among my books. He doesn't examine human origins but examines the hidden or forgotten wisdom and power of heart energy. The heart is NOT just a pump and love is NOT just an emotion.

As I was growing up, I was enthralled with the meaning of love, especially as demonstrated in the story of the life of Jesus of Nazareth. It was a story of love no matter if it is historical or just a story. Love is an energy and an idea that has been inherited from one generation to the next. We learn to feel it and appreciate its many forms and expressions. We know the expression of motherly love from our mothers, fatherly love from our fathers, brotherly and sisterly love from our siblings….usually with some form of dysfunction because of the imperfections in the experiences that formed them…but knowable and experienced nevertheless. We can know caritas by any kindness offered us or any charity that we offer to someone else. We can know philos from our neighbors or community members. Agape is an unconditional love, given without measure, simply exuded like the fragrance of a rose because that is the nature of its existence. The rose cannot do otherwise if it should try. Humans were designed to BE LOVE.

Eros, is the love that comes from passion which in humans is most often expressed sexually and romantically. Although stifled and delimited by patrist cultures that dominate our planet today, erotic love is an expression that comes from the depths of our being. Erotic love is instinctive and natural to the human. Like other species of animals and even plants, sex is one of the ways that a species maintains itself, to replace individual organisms that have died.

Even the rose is a sexual creature and the flower is its sexual organ. The fragrance attracts the bees that will help to carry the rose’s pollen to another rose. The rose performs this sexual act without fear of being stifled or delimited. It just IS. That you can enjoy its fragrance is just the byproduct of the sexuality of the rose. Not all flowers will have a pleasant aroma and you are not attracted. But flies are. Some flowers stink of decaying flesh. The flies are attracted and perform their role in the distribution of the pollen to another flower of the same species. These flowers can’t change their sexual expression or stifle. It’s just their nature.

Humans are attracted to each other to share in the expression of eros and there seems to be two purposes. Like the other animals and the plants, sexual expression can lead to new humans being born as replacements for their parents. The species goes on through this expression. Human life continues.

Humans are also attracted to each other for the sheer, indescribable pleasure of their sexual expression. Many cultural or religious taboos restrict or deny this expression even though it is in the very nature of the human to be drawn to the powerful experience that can be discovered and explored in sexuality. Culture and social taboos can also contaminate the meaning of the sexual experience, stripping it of its spiritual significance. Sex is also a sacred experience that has great meaning and potential for evolving humanity. Your spirit drives you toward this portal of discovery with the desire to have children, a family. Once the family is growing or grown you are driven toward this portal to renew the experience you might have discovered in making babies. Then you can enjoy the experience for the pure pleasure alone. You are simply taking advantage of the way the human body works, generating endorphins for the fun of it.

Some people get caught up at this level trying different positions, role-playing fantasies, seeking some culturally derived measures of “bigger is better” or “multiple partners” or “Barbie Doll for Ken”… all ego-driven from a limited concept of good. What they don’t discover is that there is more…much more…to all of this....once ego is managed properly.

Ego can be a very useful navigation device for most human activity and it can be twisted and misshapen to create a monster. Ego is powerful whether it is weak or strong, producing powerless or powerful personalities. Ego most often expresses the program of limitations you have learned and can stand in the way of outgrowing your program. Humans are diminished by their egos more than they are driven to new heights. There ARE new heights but they are only reached by soaring. Most people seek the heights by using other people, their energy, their ideas, or their money. That’s because the ego believes in limitations. Its program is limited and limiting. You will not be able to soar to new heights with the baggage of ego.

Ego will not be killed or stifled. You are more likely to let go of ego if you honor your ego for the guidance it has given you and promise to check in every now and then. You can simply take the keys from the ego and provide comfort for its “retirement”. Now when you listen to that small voice, it’s not the ego whispering nonsense of the world that programmed you. Now you can start accepting your intuition more and more.

Journaling or writing in a diary can help you sort out the ego from the Spirit You. I’ve noticed that in English, the pronoun, “I” is capitalized as though it is very special. Where would that come from but from the ego? The ego has capitalized itself for a long time. I decided to uncapitalize that pronoun that describes me because it had been hijacked by the ego. For nearly a year of writing, I focused on un-capitalizing “I” to always write “i” when referring to myself. If I forgot and capitalized the I, I would take the time to go back and change it. Uncapitalizing the I became conscious and consciously I gently demoted the powerful ego to a more quiet role and gradually the quiet whisper in the heart grew stronger.

Frequently, over a period of 5 years, I went out to sell my dream catchers far from my home. I would travel alone from Minnesota to Florida or from Denver to New York City through many states and many cities. I would travel to a city, get a motel, eat supper, and go back to my room to make dream catchers for the next day, look through the telephone book to find the shops that might buy dream catchers, call them the next morning, go out to 3 or 4 shops in that town, sell dream catchers and then go on to the next town to repeat the process.

At first I had the radio on or I was playing a cassette, but after while I needed the quiet to be with me in my Self. The radio became a noisome chatter and so did the television in the evenings. Being quiet in who I am was the preferred station to be attuned. Sometimes I would stay for a time with someone, but my tendency was to be quiet. This became more of a tendency while in Germany or Austria where I didn't understand the language well enough to participate in conversations. I learned to go inside myself and feel at home.

I had also found that I could adapt Tai Chi Chih to energize the heart. In 1996 I had just left a relationship that had turned suddenly abusive and violent. Traveling to Tulsa, San Antonio, and to the West Coast to teach dream catcher weaving, I felt the aloneness of the journey that I had agreed to undertake and I needed to fill my heart. I found that when I did Tai Chi I could bring my hands to my heart before I settled the energy into the navel area. Standing atop a sand dune overlooking the Pacific Ocean at Pismo Beach, I drew the surf into my heart under a full moon. The effect was almost electrifying. It was almost like a jumpstart for my heart … I began to heal. I call this Tai Chi for the Heart.

Many of the pieces had begun to come together. I learned a little about tantra, practiced some tantra, and later learned from a tantress what the goal of tantra was understood to be. I saw that the vital ingredient of love was missing and the ego had inserted itself into the process. I had learned of the power of recursive patterning in nature and I saw that one of the true purposes of sex was to amplify the passion of love between a man and a woman who were capable of uncommon surrender of the ego and who can tune themselves with each other to generate enormous power in the frequency of love. When their frequencies are tuned with precision, they are capable of an enormous transformation. A sacred geometrist, Dan Winter had hypothesized that such a practice of attunement between two lovers could generate enough power to lift them to a new human existence far beyond what we could even imagine. He suggested that our DNA under the intense frequency attunement could project us through the Heart of the Sun and thence through the Heart of the Orion where new stars are being born. There we take up residence as the essence of love in that star, changing the whole reality of the universe with our love....

Robert Morning Sky, a Hopi-Apache dancer tells of his learning the ancient history of the Earth and humankind from teachings of the Star Elder who had been rescued from a crash of a spacecraft near Roswell, New Mexico by Robert's grandfather and five other young men of the tribe. They had hidden the injured alien in their homes and nursed him back to health. Later he taught eight selected children of the tribe using a crystal device that showed the history in images. Humans were designed by Sirian genetics scientists using DNA from a diverse population throughout the galaxy, including the royal bloodline, the Nephilim and the Children of the Feather. From the latter humankind was given the capacity for extraordinary passion and love. These attributes made humans uncontrollable because they had such an unusual power of love. Sex was a necessary part of the recombination of genetic materials that offered an evolution of great creativity and diversity.

Before we had television and movies to distract us, we had the stars to study with awe and imagination. The Mayans had among them astronomers who created a calendar with a precision far beyond any science Europeans had developed at the time.
